“In a way Winter is the real Spring – the time when the inner things happen, the resurgence of nature.”
This month we will be celebrating the Winter Solstice! This is the first day of Winter – it marks the day when the daylight is reborn to our planet and we are once again favored by the grace of our life-giving Star! Winter is a time of rest and recharge. Mother nature rests and gets ready for the abundance of life that will burst out in the spring. Like her, we need this time for self-care and to regroup energies lost throughout the year.
Our Ceremony for this Sabbat will be about taking pieces of ourselves back. Pieces that we gave away to others that although may have been needed at the time, now need to come home, to help you to once again feel whole.
Tools Needed for This Ceremony:
1) A White Candle
2) Incense: Options include empowerment, Personal Power (your sign), Protection, Psychic Awareness, Lavender, Rose, Jasmine, Sandalwood.
3) A bag of chocolate or soft candies that are big enough to scribe on, and yet small enough to be consumed with one bite. I personally like Hershey’s Miniatures. You will need at least 3 of these candies and as many as you would like.
4) A blue crystal to be your focus of wholeness. Recommendations include: Blue Lace Agate, Blue Chalcedony, Blue Quartz, Blue Calcite or Blue Apatite.
5) An object you can use to scribe your candy – it can be anything pointy – I like to use a roofing nail (washed of course)
